The North Face Men’s Bettaforca Lightweight Down Jacket is a versatile insulated layer. Ideal for hiking and climbing, it’ll keep the chill off in changeable mountain conditions. The responsibly sourced 800-fill down insulation has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, wrapped up in a wind- and moisture-resistant WindWall shell. The jacket has a stitch-through micro baffle construction, which stabilises the insulation while offering good compressibility and a low-bulk fit. The high collar, plus elasticated cuffs and hem, help to seal in body heat. There’s a chin guard at the top of the zip to avoid chafing. You can use the side pockets to keep your hands warm, and the chest pocket to keep items accessible when wearing a backpack or harness.
