The Tecnica Men’s Forge 2.0 GORE-TEX is a stylish leather trekking boot with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane and anatomic fit, designed to provide durable support, comfort and protection. The Forge’s upper is built and shaped around an anatomical last for a precise, comfortable fit. It holds the forefoot and heel firmly in place for technical terrain. The upper is made of high-quality leather, which naturally adapts to the shape of the foot as well as being extremely hard-wearing and scratch resistant. The foot is further protected from rocks and scree by an abrasion-resistant light rubber rand. The classic tongue and lacing construction are designed to allow an easy step-in, as well as a better forward-back range of motion for the ankle while walking. The Forge 2.0 features a polypropylene lasting board that increases stiffness and provides greater support in more technical terrain. The midsole, made of compressed EVA, also has an ESS rock plate for protection at the forefoot. The Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole supplies outstanding grip in variable conditions. Its dedicated lug pattern, with a climbing zone at the toe and outer lugs that improve stability, ensures confident braking and traction.
