Mountain Equipment designed the Men’s Paiyu Down Jacket for remote climbing trips, extended expeditions in freezing conditions, and multi-day ski journeys. The construction combines 700-fill down with dual-layer offset baffles that eliminate cold spots and a heat reflective internal fabric. The result is impressive warmth at a low weight. The Mountain Hood design provides extra protection when worn with or without a helmet – easily adjusting for the perfect fit. An inner zipped pocket keeps valuables safe while the roomy internal drop pockets keep kit warm. The fit allows room for a range of layers, with the adjustable cuffs and the adjustable hem designed to accommodate those layers and lock in heat. When things warm up, the jacket can be conveniently stowed in the included lightweight stuff sack. The Paiyu jacket was previously called the Trango.
