On steep backcountry adventures, you want Black Diamond’s JetForce Pro 25L. The battery-powered avalanche airbag pack features PIEPS technology and Bluetooth connectivity for easy system updates. A modular design, the 25-litre attachment can be unzipped and replaced with one of Black Diamond’s JetForce Pro Booster packs for mountain sport versatility. The 170-litre avalanche airbag can be inflated up to four times on a single charge and is easy to repack. This keeps you safer if you deploy the airbag by accident and is great for practice. The deployment handle has a large colour-coded on/off toggle that can fit in multiple positions on both shoulder straps. When activated it performs a ‘good-to-go’ system check, shown by the LED light handle. Once activated, the JetForce kicks in to secondary inflation mode, pulsing air into the bag to help it stay inflated if it is pierced in an avalanche.
