Vespucci Adventures Down by the River
The hike begins with a climb, leading you away from the village of Glynde; with the gently sloping side of Mount Caburn guiding you upwards, the views expand with every step you take. From the Mount, views to the sea and the verdant surroundings are a real treat. Walking along the spine of the Downs, you’ll descend onto the more forgiving farmland terrain; crossing the fields, you’ll see remnants left over from World War II defence efforts, historic homes and hopefully witness some of the area’s unique biodiversity.
