The natural need-to-have add on for your tent Kari is an easy-to-handle tarp that suits the legacy look and feel and which can be used either in combination with a tent or separately. A tarp provides extra space and shelter and can be used in a variety of ways like the A-pitch, the diamond pitch or as a shelter with or without groundsheet and wind breaker. It protects against unfavourable weather conditions like rain or strong sunlight, but it also demands a tight fit or it might be carried away in strong winds. Kari comes with two strong steel poles, 10 steel V-pegs with hole for added strength in sandy ground and a guyrope offering a variety of set ups. Kári is the father of Frosti (‘frost’), or elsewhere named Jökul, which means ‘icicle, ice, glacier’ – and the grandfather of Snær the Old (Snærr inn gamli’), meaning ‘Snow the Old’.
