LA Sportiva Men’s Boulder X Approach Shoes

The La Sportiva Boulder X are technical approach shoes designed for uncharted routes when you need an extremely firm hold as you run. Designed to be suitable for technical routes and vie ferrata the Boulder X are multi purpose shoes, with a toe that works well when you need a good foothold when crag climbing. The hold comes from the thick and sticky Vibram sole with an effective inbuilt Impact Brake System which offers enhanced braking power for the descent journey, helping traction. For comfort as well as performance the Boulder X also have a 2mm EVA insert which holds the foot firm and protects from shocks and impacts. An additional rubber rand also ensures that the Boulder X are resistant to all the abrasion associated with trail routes and edging work whilst the suede and leather upper ensures the Boulder X look as good as they work away from the crag. The asymmetric lacing system ensures a personal protective fit for wear in the heat when your feet swell as well as in colder climates when they decrease in size.
